📢 Jake Brawer joins CAIRO Lab as postdoctoral researcher

Jake will be conducting research jointly with CU's CAIRO and HIRO labs.


Jake Brawer has joined CAIRO lab as a postdoctoral research. He successfully defended his dissertation, "Fusing Symbolic and Subsymbolic Approaches for Natural and Effective Human-Robot Collaboration," in March 2023 under the guidance of Brian Scassellati, a Professor of Computer Science, Cognitive Science, and Mechanical Engineering at Yale University. In his new role at CAIRO lab, Brawer aims to delve deeper into the mechanisms that can enhance collaborations between humans, robots, and AI. His research will focus on leveraging the recent advancements in large language models to coordinate and interact with heterogeneous teams of robots.
