🚀 The CU Boulder First Nations Launch team successfully presented their Preliminary Design Review to a panel of judges!

The team, composed of students from the CU Boulder AISES chapter, is designing a rocket to be launched in late April 2023.


The team presented their design and plans for the rocket to a panel of judges who included representatives from the US Space Force, NASA, and Blue Origin. The competition is hosted by the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium, which is housed at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The CU Boulder Team, named the Trailblazers, is formed of undergraduates from across the College of Engineering and Applied Science, led by Alfredo Bitsoi, Nazhone Morgan, Adrian Northcutt, and Lauren Utz, and advised by Bernadette Garcia Galvez at the Colorado Space Grant Consortium as well as by Christine Chang, CAIRO Lab member.
